Mission
Our mission is to contribute towards economic growth by reducing the skills shortage gap.
We help to develop communities by offering a wide range of educational, learning, training and development opportunities, working hand in hand with students and employers.
We offer two main programmes, all of which are fully funded:
• Traineeships
• Apprenticeships

Traineeships
A Traineeship is a programme for young people aged 16 – 24. This starts with IC Training Centre providing a 4 – 6 week course consisting of employability, customer service and digital skills training. This programme comes at no cost to the learner.
After this, trainees undertake a 100 hour work placement with an employer, consisting of 25 – 35 working hours per week.

Apprenticeship
An apprentice can be any age and the programme usually lasts from 12 – 18 months. The apprentice will work with the employer throughout their apprenticeship for at least 30 hours per week.

You will gain vital industry experience whilst simultaneously working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
