As many of you already know earlier this month was National Apprenticeship Week. We joined with those all around the country to celebrate our brilliant apprentices and everyone who contributes to our apprenticeship programmes.
On 9 February we put together an event at City Gates Conference Centre to uplift our apprentices and the community that surrounds them.
City gates conference centre is a wonderful venue, and we were delighted to be able to host our event here.
Speeches and presentations were given by teachers, students, and staff, sharing individual experiences about the utility of apprenticeship programmes and how our students see them as a vital steppingstone in their career journey.
We were thrilled to be joined by the Mayor of Redbridge Cllr Roy Emmett who gave a powerful speech about transformational nature of education and apprenticeships. We would like to thank him once again for his attendance.
Several awards were given out to our apprentices, staff and employers recognising their progression, dedication, and the vital work they have taken part in.
And it wouldn’t be an IC Training event if we didn’t finish off with a raffle.
After this we were able to enjoy a delicious lunch and spend time enjoying each other’s company.
We would once again like to thank everyone who attended and made this event so special and so enjoyable. We cannot wait until next year’s celebration!
