IC Training Centre

We are a training provider based in Ilford with employers all over London. We work with employers to offer individuals apprenticeship, Kickstarter and traineeship programmes. This gives employers real value, allowing them to upskill their workforce and futureproof with high quality, highly motivated individuals, whilst simultaneously giving employees important training, experience and the skills they need to move forward in life.

We offer three main programmes:

• Traineeships
• Apprenticeships
• Kickstart

Traineeships

A Traineeship is a programme for young people aged 16 – 24. This starts with IC Training Centre providing a 4 – 6 week course consisting of employability, customer service and digital skills training.

This comes at no cost to the learner.

This helps the individual acquire important work place skills and ensures they are developed into a high quality candidate for employers.

After this, trainees undertake a 100 hour work placement with the employer, consisting of 25 – 35 working hours per week. This gives you valuable work experience in your field.

It is also important to mention that after the traineeship has finished we often see employers take on their trainees, either for an apprenticeship or for full time employment.

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship can be any age and the programme usually lasts from 12 – 18 months. The apprentice will work with the employer throughout their apprenticeship for at least 30 hours per week.

We offer several apprenticeship programmes, we will work with you hand in hand to help you pick the course that will help you to achieve your career goals. Some of our most popular apprenticeship standards are:

• Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration
• Level 3 Digital Marketer, Digital IT Apprenticeship
• Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service

As an apprentice you will spend 80% of your time working in your chosen field with one of our employers. You will spend the other 20% of your work hours learning from industry experts at the centre.

We pride ourselves in the excellent quality of our apprentices and of our apprenticeship programmes. In 2018/19 we saw a 94.6% achievement rate from our students and last year we saw that grow to 100%.

Kickstart

The Kickstart Scheme offers a six-month job for young people aged 16 – 24 years old who are currently claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment. During this programme You will be able to grow you industry experience and develop transferable skills aimed at increasing your chances of sustained employment.
