This qualification is designed for those either working or looking to work within the Health and Social Care sector in a variety of roles. If you are not working, IC Training Centre would help you to get a job in the Health and Social Care sector.
A competency-based qualification is based on National Occupational Standards and is a job-ready qualification which requires learners to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to work in a specific industry.
The NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England has been accredited by the qualifications regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

Although there are no formal entry requirements to register on to this standalone qualification, HABC recommend learners have level 1 in both English and mathematics, this will also support those learners who undertake this qualification as part of an Apprenticeship programme.
